Prayer
One cannot read the New Testament without seeing the necessity of prayer in the life of a church body. Whether you observe prayer preceding and proceeding Pentecost in Acts 2 or you read the prayers of Paul for the churches in Philippi, Colosse, and Ephesus, you come away with understanding God’s intense desire to see His people pray.
Because of this emphasis, we seek to incorporate prayer into every aspect of our ministry. We are needy people striving to cast our dependence on God at every turn. Our church will eventually turn into a social club, if prayer is not at the center. A significant portion of our bi-monthly Bible Study and Prayer Service is set aside for corporate prayer.
